Items to Include in Your Bridal Registry

Putting together a bridal registry can be quite stressful on top of other wedding planning duties. From pots and pans to a vacuum and fancy china, you may have thought of the basics, but don’t forget these items!

Wall Decor

A furnished home isn’t complete without personal touches. If you’re already set on most of your essential home items, consider adding artwork and wall decor to your registry. Pictures, especially wedding photos, make great wall decor, so be sure to register for frames.

Luggage

From the honeymoon to weekend getaways, luggage is a must for your wedding registry. If you’re worried about the price, encourage family members or friends to purchase as a group. Purchasing luggage is an investment, so pick out something that is durable and looks great!

Bakeware

While cookware is a staple for bridal registries, consider adding baking supplies as well! A non-stick muffin pan for weekend brunches and cake pans for birthday celebrations are great starter pieces you’ll use often. Baking sheets will serve as a multi-purpose tool in the kitchen - from baking cookies to roasting veggies.

Rugs and Mats

Rugs and mats are another practical item to add to your registry! Greet guests with a personalized welcome mat and an entryway rug. Coordinating, plush bath mats are another great investment your feet will be sure to appreciate after a hot shower!

Additional Linens

A set of linens for the master bedroom may do the job, but what happens if you aren’t able to wash and dry them in the same day? Having an extra set of linens on hand is always a good idea, especially for visiting guests.

Holiday Items

Take some time to brainstorm what items you may need for the holidays during the course of the year. If you and your partner celebrate Christmas, consider registering for a faux tree, ornaments, and other holiday essentials. Your guests will be able to score deals on these well-needed decorations if your wedding or wedding shower occurs after a major holiday.

Grill and Grill Tools

When the weather warms, you’ll want to entertain guests in the backyard with some barbequing. You’ll need tools like a basting brush, tongs, and a grill cleaning brush. Add some yard games to your list for a well-supplied BBQ.
